Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Candy: I growled again and sat down then stood back up. "That...That little.....GRRRRRR!" I screeched. And huffed. I looked at Allie. "The Paitent kissed me then when I hit him he just grinned and laughed at me. ANd what worse is that I enjoyed it and kissed him back!" I looked to Allie to see her trying not to smile. "Don't laugh at a time like this. He kissed me for pete sake!"
Jesse: "Think she'll fogive me?" I asked knowingly. She had kissed me back and boy was she a good kisser.
ooc:OHHH,tension!!!!

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"Brothers. They're all the same." I say to Candy. Then the smile vanished from my face as a thought entered my mind.
"Matt better not try that with me, or so help me God I'll hurt him." I said, fuming. It was a little too much, but I knew he'd try it. libertysgirl Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Candy: I grinned and nodded. "You'd better watch it. He'll probably do it sometime soon." I laughed at her look and shook my head. "If he's as good a kisser as his brother you won't mind."

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"I knew your temper tantrume was too good to be true. You like him don't you?" I said teasing her a little. I saw Matt come out of his brother's room looking a little ticked.
"Oh, I wonder what happened to make him mad." I said to Candy in a low whisper. "This should be good." I say with a little laugh.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Matt: I walked up to Allie and Candy trying to not show my emotion. "He frustates me so much. He won't take his meds. He refuses to take them until his "Angel' comes back." I turned to Candy giving her a sad look. "I'm guessing you're the poor soul who my ornery brother calls 'Angel'?" I asked good naturedly. She nodded and looked at Allie giving her a raise of the brows and nodded her head to her.
Candy: I nodded the Alle telling her that yes I liked him and then rose my eyebrows teasing her about Matt kissing her. I got behind Matt and made a kissy face at her. She glared at me and I laughed walking away. "Good luck Allie." I called and went into Jesse's room closing the door behind me. "Take your meds Jesse." I said with a small smile. "I'm here so now you have to take them." He grinned and reached for the cups to take them. "Anything for my darling Angel who kisses like a pro." He said with sweet smile. I gave him a outraged look and shook my head.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"Your brother is a poece of work. You know he ticked Candy into kissing him?" I asked, trying to raise a conversation. Matt raised his eyebrows at me as if he knew that's not what my mind was on.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Ben: "Yeah, I bet she'll forgive you this time." I told Jesse. ----------------------- Susan: I hated being in the cast. And my leg itched. "Oh dear." I mumbled. Why now? Why on my first date?

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Beth: I walked down the aisle to were the waiter had said to stay and wait for my mom to come. Along the way, I saw a cute guy with a girl sitting at a table. The girls leg was a messed up. "Hi there!" I said in a cheery voice. I hopped the were related. "Im Beth Anderson, what are your guys' names?" I asked cheerfully. "Im Susan Whicker." Said the girl. I waited for the guy to reply. -------------------------- Susan: I was so mad at this 'Beth.' SHe was flirting with Mick! I hopped he understood my darting eye signels.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I grinned at Susan's angry dagger look and turned to the girl with a bored look. "I'm Mick Summers. Nice to meet you." I replied in a horribly bored tone. I turned back to Susan with a 'Happy now?' look.
PhantomMustang
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Susan: I shot a "yes, I am happy now." Look. I looked ta Beth. She looked at me, then scouled. ------------------------ Beth: They were not brother and sister. I looked at Susan, and then her leg, and felt like I would be able to get Mick away from her. "What happened to your leg?" I asked. ---------------------------- Susan: "I fell off a wild mustang." I knew that she would never get Mick to like her, so I felt better.

Mick: I felt my jaw drop and snapped it shut. "I don't think so. You see I have promised that I'll give all my extra time to my beutiful Girlfriend Susan here. So most likely I won't be doing anything with you." I smiled and blinked at her with my mouth taunt.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
When Matt didn't answer me I turned to leave.
"See you back at the barn. Let me know how he is when you get back." I said. I didn't have a ride home, so I called Mick, hoping terribly that he wasn't busy at the moment. I really needed to go ride a horse.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I saw Beth give Susan a raking look. Looking her up and down. I was ready to tear her a new one when my phone rang. "Hello? Hey, Allie. Yeah, sure I can do that. Susie and I'll be there in tewn minutes. Okay see you then. Bye." I hung and turned to Beth. "Well looks like we've got to sceet-dadal. We got to pick up a friend from the hospital." I didn't give her the details. She'd have to try and figure it out. "Let's go Sus." I said as I gave the waitress the money for the check and left.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Susan: I tried not to smile as I got out of my chair, but as I stood, Beth knoced a glass full of water on my cast. "Oh Mick!" I cried. "The cast is wet, its beging to fall apart!" I said. Mick came over and lifted me up, and carried me away from the table into the car. "Thats not what she wanted is it?" I asked smiling. But Mick wasnt. "Whats worng?" I asked. libertysgirl
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I frowned and placed Susan in her seat. "I have a feeling that she's somehow going to find out where we ride and I'm not interested in beating off some chick attention. I have you and I'm as happy as can be." I started the truck pulled out into traffic. "Let's get you to the hospital and get that cast fix." I said and smiled at her trying to lighten the tintion in the truck.
PhantomMustang
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Susan: "And I am glad you are happy with me!" I told him. He smiled. Then I said, "I want my cast off. I want to go ride."
libertysgirl
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I smiled at her and nodded. "We'll get that off as soon as possible. I promise. Than you and I can have a race to see which horse is faster. And I'll win!" I said with a grin giving her a thingyy wink. We pulled into the hospital parking lot and park. Allie came over and asked what was up. "Susan got water spilt on her cast we have to get it fixed." I said with a playful grimace.
phantomspirit1
\Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"Who did that?" I asked, slightly interested. I wanted to get back to the barn and just ride lazily on the trails.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: "Some chick named BETH. Little annoying flirt." I grumbled loudly. "Oh, I just can't stand chicks like her." I puffed and snorted.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
I laughed totally amused by Mick's rant. Susan laughed.
"You sound so very chick. Don't you think Sue?" I laughed. She did too as she nodded.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Susan: I laughed with Allie, then said in a pained voice, "I gotto get this thing fixed! COld water is runningn down my leg!"
phantomspirit1
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"Then I guess you should get her inside Mick." I said and I opened Sue's door as Mick got out of the truck.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I blushed slightly at there teasing and got out. "Laugh all you want but that girl was nothin' but a player in heels." I waggled my brows at Susan to show her I was kidding as I turned away from Allie to help Susan out. "Would you go get a wheelchair for me please? I fear I'm going to drop Susan if I have to carry her anymore." I teased and made like I was dropping her. I laughed when she shreiked and smacked me. "O think my just drop you for that." I said in mock offense making them laugh.
Matt: I came out seeing Allie talking to Susan and Mick and walked over quickly giving her a kiss and turning to Susan and Mick. "What's going on here?" I asked as I placed an arm around Allie. 'And she thought she'd made clean get away.' I thought smugly. I looked down at her to see her staring straight ahead not focused on anything. I chuckled and looked back at Mick with a slight smile. phantomspirit1
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
I laughed at Mick's joking around.
"Sure, I'll get one for you." I went back into the hospital and asked the nurse at the desk foe a wheelchair. She smiled and gave me one. I unfolded it then went outside to Sue and Mick.
"Here you are. One very uncomfortable hospital wheelchair." I said to them as I stopped it next to Mick.

Mick: Laughing I placed Susan in the chair and pushed her forward giving Matt a sad look. "Poor guy. Can't even get his girlfriend to notice him." I whispered in Susan's ear and shoved through the swinging doors.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
My jaw dropped slightly.
"Hey! I heard that!" I yelled after Mick and followed him and Sue into the hospital.
"I noticed him and who said I was even his girlfriend?" I asked ranting on. I realized what I was doing and bit my lip to keep from shouting at Mick more and causing a scene.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Matt: I sighed and gave amiable shrug. "Well I'm leaving." I said and walked toward my car.
Mick: I saw Matt turn and walk away as I laughed quietly at Allie. My smile dropped when I saw he was leaving. "Whatever Allie." I said quietly and called her attention behind her.

I looked to where Mick was looking. I sighed as I saw Matt leaving. He must've heard me. I looked back at Mick with narrowed eyes.
"I'll get you later." I said to him. He simply smiled. I rolled my eyes.
"See you later Sue." I said with a smile, then headed out of the hospital and following Matt.
"Matt wait up!" I called, jogging after him.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Mick: I shook my head and walked up to the registration desk. "Hey, we need to get her cast fixed someone dumped water on it." The nurse leaned forward and looked at the cast. "You weren't kidding were you?" I nodded and she waved for us to follow.
Matt: I turned at the sound of Allie voice and stopped. "Yeah, what can I do for ya'?" I replied with a wavering smile. I couldn't let her get to me. It already hurt enough that she still didn't consider me her boyfriend when I'd thought we were past that, 'Is she or isn't she?' point. I smiled and gave her a slightly impatient look. "I have to get going. You know places to go people to see?" I teased trying not to sound harsh. I failed miserably. I always did when I was trying to get away from someone with them seeing my true thoughts.
phantomspirit1
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
I frowned. I didn't think we had really moved past the friends part, but I guess he thought so. I really did like him. He was really nice even if he was hilariously harsh.
"Is one of those people me?" I asked him, tilting my head to the side. I looked at him meaningfully and I could see right through his tough guy exterior.

Mick: "Ow!" I yelped and rubbed my arm. Pushing Susan along I replied to her. "I know you hate this place but it will only take about an hour." I smiled gave her a wink.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
I watched as Matt climbed into his truck and started it. Determined not to be one of those girls in the movies that got left behind by the guy they loved, I quickly moved to stand behind his truck as he had begun pulling out. He slammed on his breaks as I folded my arms tight across my chest and set my jaw stubbornly. His driver side door flew open as he jumped out of his truck yelling something incoherently and storming toward me.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Matt: I slammed on my breaks and got out yelling at Allie to get out of the way. I walked angerly toward her coming with inshes of her. "Get out from behind my truck, Allie or I'll personaly remove you myself." I said threateningly and leaned down to where our noses almost touched. "Now!" I growled.
Mick: I smiled at Susan and nodded my approval. "She will." I whispered to her and winked.
phantomspirit1
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Allie:
"IS that a promise?" I asked him smiling in his face. It made him even more angry. Good, right where I want him. I closed the remaining space between us and kissed him lightly on his lips. There. That should shut him up for a few seconds.

Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Matt: I blinked in shock and looked down at her. Narrowing my eyes I smiled slowly. "You have no idea what you're going to make me come to do you?" I questioned warmly. I pulled to me and kissed her deeply. Kissing her till she was breathless I pulled away and smiled down at her smugly.

I chickled, and walked over to her. "Miss, Ill tell ya, she is the one who broke her other leg two years ago, and was barrel racing the next week, she cut her own cast off!" I said, then, "Do you know where I can find her?" "Are you related to her?" She asked. "Im her brother, how else would I know she cut her on cast off?" I said. "Follow me." Re: In the Cities and Suburbs

"Ok. I'll check on Blue while I wait. He's probably a little restless." I said. I kissed Matt's cheek and walked toward the barn. I let out a piercing whistle. Storm raced up to the pasture gate, Blue by his side. I smiled at the two stallions. Never before had I seen two stallions that could be kept together like them. I quickly grabbed Blue's halter and lead and Storm's halter.
I went back out to the pasture, talking to the stallies.
"Hey there handsome boys. Time to go inside." I put Storm's halter on then Blue's halter and lead. I opened the gate and Blue followed me through, Storm right behind him. Blue walked on my right side happy to go. Storm was on my left, his right ear swiveled to me, waiting for any command I might give.
"Go wait by your stall Storm." I said to my stally as we entered the barn. He trotted down the long isle and stood next to his stall. I came up next to him and opened Blue's stall door. I released him inside and closed the stall door behind him.
"Good boy Blue." I crooned to him. I then removed Storm's halter and hung up both of them. I went to the tack room and grabbed my beloved English tack and tacked up Storm. libertysgirl
Re: In the Cities and Suburbs
Matt: I hung up the phone and sighed. The deal wouldn't go through. I was going to lose everything that I cared about even my horse. Because my stupid brother had gotten himself hurt. I kicked the rocks as I went to the barn and opened my horses stall. "Hey,boy. How are you? Seems as if this might be our last ride together. I'm gonna' miss you so much." I ribbed him down and placed his saddle on his back, cinching it up. "Well boy. Let's go find Allie."

I mounted up on my horse and we headed for the trails. I wished so badly for something I could do. By the time I came up with a solution, we had been riding for half an hour in comfortable silence. I pulled Storm up and Matt halted his horse as well.
"I thing I have a way for you to keep your horses." I anounced with my very charming smile.

"Ok then. Let's go back and call them." I said. I turned Storm on his hind legs quickly. For an predominantly english trained stallion, he neck reined excellently. He was just as good a western horse as he was an english one. To prove it, he set off at an easy lope instead of his collected canter.
Matt turned his horse and rode easily next to me as we made our way back to the barn.

I said happily as I hung up the phone. libertysgirl Re: In the Cities and Suburbs Matt: Allie turned to me smiling and I grinned back. "So he's gonna come see them? That's great!" I said and grabbed her hand twirling her around the room in front of me. I stopped and smiled down at her. "You're the best." I said softly and hugged her. phantomspirit1 Re: In the Cities and Suburbs Allie: "Yeah, I know." I answered jokingly. My father had agreed and he was likely to buy them. They were beautiful, well trained horses that would be of great use...to Matt and his brother. My dad always did things for me. I was his precious little girl. Haha! I smiled back at Matt as he smiled down at me. PhantomMustang Re: In the Cities and Suburbs Susan: "You are such a little...." I paused searching for a word. " brat!" I said, exasperated. I rolled my eyes at him. "You will wish you didnt say that later!" I said in a sing-song way. I hobbled over to where he was waiting for me. "DOnt forget, I could kick you and you couldn't do anything to me!" -------------- Ben: I rolled my eyes at my sister. "Lets just get going!" libertysgirl Re: In the Cities and Suburbs Mick: I laughed and kissed her cheek going over and getting into the truck waiting for them, to get in. "Okay let's go get you up on your horse." I said putting the truck into gear. Matt: Some time later I heard a motor and turned hoping it was Allie's dad. I saw a vehicle and asked her. "Is that him?" PhantomMustang Re: In the Cities and Suburbs Susan: I smiled at Mick. "Right, I cant wait to get up on Blue again! My legs are aching to get riding!" I Lifted my self up into the truck, slid in next to Mick and Ben slid in beside me. Last page! Post away!!!

Mick: I started my truck and pulled out of the hospital parking lot heading for the stables. "So Ben what are you going to do when we get back to the barn?" I asked hoping he wasn't going to say he was going riding with us. I wanted it to be just Susan and I, I didn't wanted her older brother glaring at me for flirting or maybe even sneaking in a kiss or two with his sister. I mean don't get me wrong, he was my friend but it just made a guy uncomfortable.

Ben: I glanced around. "I am thinking on driving home and working on my report. I have a meeting to do for some people at the Quarter Horse Ranch I want to work at."

Susan: I laughed at Ben. "You take that job so seriously." I said. He shrugged, then laughed. It wasn't too hard to get him laughing. "So, how is Shiloh?" I asked, then bit my tongue. I knew that he was still sad that Shiloh and her brother, Elijah, had moved to England. "Im sorry...." I said. He shrugged. "Its fine. She emailed me, and said that she missed us." I nodded. "Let me off here." He said, so Mick slowed the car then stopped it. "Have fun!" I said, shutting the car door. Then I breathed a sigh a relief. "He is gone!" I said, laughing. Then I turned grave. "He misses Shiloh." He said.

Mick: I nodded. "I know. I feel bad for him and wish theyhadn't moved." I replied sighing softly and smiled at her sadly. "You think she'll ever come for a visit?" I asked hopefully.

Susan: I shrugged. "I dont know. I hope so." (I dont think "Jen" is coming back though.... ) I brightened a bit, and said, "So are we going to go ride Blue today?" I grinned.
